Anti-Virus Software	Spotfire DecisionSite Client should be installed with Anti-Virus software disabled. In addition, Anti-Virus software should also be disabled when downloading Server-delivered DecisionSite applications (e.g. Statistics, Lead Discovery or Functional Genomics).
Microsoft Internet Explorer	Spotfire DecisionSite Client supports Internet Explorer 6 SP2 and Internet Explorer 7.
Microsoft .NET Framework	Spotfire DecisionSite Client requires Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 SP1, 2.0 or 3.0 to operate. Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 or 3.0 is strongly recommended. Click here to download Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0.
Microsoft Windows Script	Spotfire DecisionSite Client supports Windows Script versions 5.1 through v5.6. This software includes Visual Basic Script Edition (VBScript.), JScript (JavaScript), Windows Script Components, Windows Script Host, and Windows Script Runtime. Microsoft Data Access Components	Spotfire DecisionSite Client supports versions 2.6 through v2.8 SP1 (2.81.1117.6). Click here to download Microsoft Data Access Components.
Importing SAS data files	It is possible to import SAS data files (.sas7bdat, .sd2, .sd7) into DecisionSite Client directly. The requirement for this functionality is that the SAS Providers for OLE DB 9.1.3* must first be installed on the client machine. Click here to download SAS Providers for OLE DB 9.1.3 (free registration on SAS website required). NOTE: Microsoft Windows Vista is not a supported platform for SAS Providers for OLE DB 9.1.3.
Network Connection	Spotfire DecisionSite Client requires a network connection to a Spotfire Analytics Server 9.0 or higher, either at the hosted Spotfire Analytics Server or a customer-specific Spotfire Analytics Server.
Microsoft Internet Explorer Options Settings	Microsoft Internet Explorer on the client should be configured to access the Spotfire Analytics Server via the standard network connection. Downloading signed ActiveX components, scripts and cookies from the Spotfire server must be allowed to pass through the firewall and proxy server, if restricted. Deploying Spotfire DecisionSite Client 9.1.1 on Citrix Presentation Servers

Spotfire DecisionSite Client	In order to install Spotfire DecisionSite Client on Citrix Servers, all the standard Spotfire DecisionSite Client system requirements must be met. In addition, the Citrix Presentation Server system requirements must also be met - please see the following Citrix support article for more information regarding this. Spotfire DecisionSite Applications	In order to run Spotfire DecisionSite Applications (i.e. Functional Genomics, Lead Discovery, etc), all the standard system requirements for each application must be met.

MDL ISIS Details-on-Demand	If you intend to use the ISIS Details-on-Demand, it requires a server connection to ISIS/Direct 5.1 or 6.0. In addition, MDL Chime Pro for Web 2.6 SP6 must be installed on the client if you intend to view ISIS structures in the Details-on-Demand window in DecisionSite Posters.
SMTP Server	In order to send DecisionSite Posters as emails, a valid SMTP server needs to be available. In addition, the SMTP server must allow the sender's name to be set and emails to be sent.
Supported Email Clients	DecisionSite Posters supports sending emails in two formats: plain text format or HTML format with embedded JPG or PNG images. The plain text email format is supported by any email client. The HTML email format is supported for: Microsoft Outlook Express Microsoft Outlook 2000 Microsoft Outlook XP Microsoft Outlook 2003 Lotus Notes 5.06a Novell GroupWise 6.5
Client Requirements	To create a Poster: DecisionSite Client 9.1.1 or higher is required on the client. See the system requirements for Spotfire DecisionSite Client above. SDFiles	Standard SDFiles can be imported and exported directly into and out of DecisionSite. If there are MOL formatted structures in an imported SDFile, they will be automatically rendered by the 3rd party MOL rendering tool for which you have the appropriate Chemistry Services Component.
MDL Notes	NOTE: The system requirements for MDL Products can be found at www.mdl.com. NOTE: Spotfire supports MDL Molecules databases. Spotfire does not support Reaction databases. NOTE: Occasionally customers have difficulty connecting DecisionSite for Lead Discovery to complex Hviews. For example, Hviews containing multiple levels of nesting and concatenated databases may be difficult to align with the data model in DecisionSite. Such issues have typically been resolved by using Hviews with a simplified structure, e.g., Compound ID and structure only.
