RAM	1 GB or greater recommended (512 MB minimum). Large datasets can require more RAM
Hard disk space	The installation footprint is approximately 90 MB
Display	1024x768 pixel resolution or higher, 16 bit high colors or greater. DirectX 9 or higher and a compatible graphics card
TIBCO Spotfire Software	Connection to a TIBCO Spotfire Server 3.2 or 3.3, with a TIBCO Spotfire 3.3.x deployment, for software deployment and licensing. NOTE: For more information on running a mixed 3.2/3.3 environment, please refer to the document Running 3.3 Clients with a 3.2 Server.
TIBCO Spotfire (for Upgrades)	Existing TIBCO Spotfire (Client) installations of version 2.0 to 3.2 can be upgraded to version 3.3.x by connecting to a TIBCO Spotfire Server 3.2 or 3.3, with a TIBCO Spotfire 3.3.x deployment

Microsoft .NET Framework	TIBCO Spotfire supports Microsoft .NET Framework versions 2.0 through 3.5 SP1 and requires that Microsoft .NET Framework be installed prior to installing TIBCO Spotfire. NOTE: In order to use the (IronPython) scripting functionality in TIBCO Spotfire, Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 SP2 (assembly version 2.0.50727.3053 or higher) must be installed (Note: also included in 3.5 SP1) NOTE: Microsoft. Importing SAS data files	It is possible to import SAS data files (.sas7bdat, .sd2, .sd7) into TIBCO Spotfire directly. The requirement for this functionality is that the SAS Providers for OLE DB 9.1.3 - 9.2.2* must first be installed on the client machine. NOTE: Microsoft Windows Vista and Windows 7 are not supported platforms for SAS Providers for OLE DB 9.1.3 (but are supported for 9.2.2).
Citrix	Deployment of TIBCO Spotfire is supported on: Server: Citrix XenApp 5.0 Citrix XenApp 6.0 Operating System: Windows Server 2008 R2 Windows Server 2008 Windows Server 2003 R2 SP2 NOTE: The 3D Scatter Plot is not supported in a Citrix environment since the plot requires hardware acceleration. In Internet Explorer, the setting can be changed by going to Tools > Options > Privacy tab and then clicking on the Advanced button. In Firefox, the setting can be changed by going to Tools > Options > Privacy tab > Cookies. NOTE: In addition, the Remember Me functionality will not work properly unless all cookies (session and regular persistent) are allowed. NOTE: When creating Mashups, please note that TIBCO Spotfire Web Player 3.3 always runs in Internet Explorer 7 mode - all Web Player pages contain the following tag: <meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=7" />

Microsoft Office (Optional)	The following versions of Microsoft Office are supported for Office-dependent functionality: Microsoft Office 2010, 32- and 64-bit version Microsoft Office 2007 Microsoft Office 2003 SP1 NOTE: Microsoft Office needs to be installed in order to use Spotfire (Web Player) functionality that integrates with Office products, such as importing data from Microsoft Access or when importing data from old Excel file versions. An alternative to installing Microsoft Office is to just install the drivers - Office System Driver: Data Connectivity Components (also referred to as "Microsoft Access Database Engine") - instead.
