    • TIBCO Spotfire Developer Training

    TIBCO Spotfire training (formerly DXP) is designed to facilitate the extension, automation, and integration of TIBCO Spotfire . Training will take users with no prior knowledge of TIBCO Spotfire APIs through a general introductory session, followed by advanced courses as their development needs require.

    Introduction to TIBCO Spotfire Programming with C#
    Length: 1 day
    Class Prerequisite: none
    Software Prerequisite: Visual Studio 2005 for C#, TIBCO Spotfire SDK
    Description: This session introduces the C# programming language as it relates to Spotfire development to developers who are new to C# but who have a programming background. C# programming fundamentals as well as using the Spotfire DXP SDK along with Visual Studio 2005 are covered. Note that this is not a course in the complete C# language, rather only the portions of the language required to create Spotfire Extensions..

    TIBCO Spotfire Client APIs
    Length: 1 day
    Class Prerequisite: Introduction to TIBCO Spotfire Programming with C# or prior knowledge
    Software Prerequisite: Visual Studio 2005 for C#, TIBCO Spotfire SDK
    Description: This session covers the Spotfire Client Object Model and how to use its APIs to automate Spotfire.

    TIBCO Spotfire Basic Extensions
    Length: 1 day
    Prerequisites: TIBCO Spotfire Client APIs
    Software Prerequisite: Visual Studio 2005 for C#, TIBCO Spotfire SDK
    Description: This session covers how to create basic DXP extensions, specifically tools, new calculations and aggregations, and configured visualizations.

    TIBCO Spotfire Advanced Extensions
    Length: 2 days
    Prerequisites: TIBCO Spotfire Client APIs
    Software Prerequisite: Visual Studio 2005 for C#, TIBCO Spotfire SDK
    Description: This session covers how to create advanced Spotfire extensions, specifically custom visualizations, data readers and writers, custom nodes, custom data views, and advanced calculations.

    Integrating with TIBCO Spotfire
    Length: 1 day
    Prerequisites: TIBCO Spotfire Client APIs
    Software Prerequisite: Visual Studio 2005 for C#, TIBCO Spotfire SDK
    Description: This session covers how to integrate with the Tibco Spotfire Client and the Analytics Server.
