  • Clearing the S+ Workbench console with Control-L causes the console to not respond to the Enter key.
  • Java graphs do not integrate properly into the S+ Workbench.
  • Variance reported by the bd.univariate() function differs from that reported by the var() function.
  • The anova.bdLm() function is missing a term in the anova table output if the intercept is removed from the original bdLm() model.

  • Updates S-PLUS 7.0.3 for Solaris or Linux and is not applicable to previous releases of S-PLUS.
  • Updates S-PLUS 7.0.3 to S-PLUS 7.0.6 (Dec 21 2005).
  • Required disk space for installation is approximately 40 MB (including temporary space required).

Details: This update will change S-PLUS 7.0.3 to S-PLUS 7.0.6.

Note: S-PLUS 7.0.4 was a Windows only release. S-PLUS 7.0.5 was a version of the S-PLUS language engine that shipped only with Insightful Miner 7. It was not available as an independent patch to S-PLUS. Changes between S-PLUS 7.0.5 and S-PLUS 7.0.6 are ancillary bug fixes to S-PLUS.

  • Updates all editions of S-PLUS 7.0 for Windows and is not applicable to previous releases of S-PLUS.
  • Updates S-PLUS 7.0 (March 4, 2005 revision), S-PLUS 7.0.2 (June 15, 2005 revision), S-PLUS 7.0.3 (August 7, 2005 revision), and S-PLUS 7.0.4 (September 28, 2005 revision) to S-PLUS 7.0.6 (December 4, 2005 revision)
  • Required disk space for installation is approximately 71 MB including the downloaded update executable.

Details: This update will change S-PLUS 7.0.x to S-PLUS 7.0.6 (Rev Date: Dec 4, 2005 Build: B7487).

Notes: This update modifies the license agreement for S-PLUS. Please follow the link to review the new license agreement. This FAQ explains the changes to the license agreement in S-PLUS 7.0.6.

  • Updates S-PLUS 7.0 or 7.0.2 to S-PLUS 7.0.3 (Aug 4 2005).
  • Required disk space for installation is approximately 40 MB (including temporary space required).

Please note: S-PLUS 7.0.3 has been superseded by a later release (7.0.6). Click here for information about S-PLUS 7.0.6 and to download the latest update. You will need to apply the 7.0.3 patch (below) before applying the 7.0.6 patch.

 TIBCO Spotfire S+ 6.2 Windows Patch, January 2004

  • Updates all editions of S-PLUS 6.2 for Windows and is not applicable to previous releases of S-PLUS
  • Updates December 2, 2003 revision to January 12, 2004 revision
  • Required disk space for installation is approximately 1.75 MB including the downloaded update executable.

Details: Changes between S-PLUS 6.1 and the initial release of S-PLUS 6.2 (Rev Date: 2 Dec 2003) caused file import and export to take longer, particularly when the data contains a large number of rows. The slowdown is present using either the dialogs or the importData() and exportData() functions. The cause of the slowdown was identified and remedied, and the slowdown is resolved by this update.

This update will change S-PLUS 6.2 (Rev Date: 2 Dec 2003) to S-PLUS 6.2 (Rev Date: 12 Jan 2004). Insightful recommends that all users running the affected editions install the update. This issue affects all editions of S-PLUS 6.2 for Windows, including the S-PLUS 6.2 Library for Insightful Miner 3.0. Earlier releases are not affected.

 TIBCO Spotfire S+ 6.0 release 2 Service Packs

S-PLUS 6.0 Professional Release 2 and S-PLUS 6.0 Academic Site Release 2 are now available. This Service Release of S-PLUS 6.0 Professional primarily addresses some bug fixes which we were not able to incorporate into Release 1. The main improvement is in the on-line help system. Also, the ability to simultaneously export all pages of a multi-page graphsheet has been added. For a list of changes from S-PLUS 6.0 Professional Release 1 and S-PLUS 6.0 Academic Site Release1, see the S-PLUS 6.0 Professional Release 2 release notes and the S-PLUS 6.0 Academic Site Release 2 release notes. For a list of bugs fixed since S-PLUS 6.0 Professional Release 1, see the fixed bug list.

These Service Packs are available for free download for all users of S-PLUS 6.0 Professional Release 1 and S-PLUS 6.0 Academic Site Release 1.

If you prefer, you may request a CD to be sent to you instead of downloading these Service Packs. The Service Pack for S-PLUS 6.0 Professional Release 1 is about 11Mb and for S-PLUS 6.0 Academic Site Release 1 is about 10Mb in size.

S-PLUS 2000 Patch: S-PLUS 2000 Release 3 Service Pack
